• In this category we have tried to bring you the production crops, national associations and organizations. Most of these organizations also have state chapters which can be located through their national site.

• In this category we will focus on the production livestock and the related associations, organizations and foundations. The national organizations are listed here, you should be able to find your state chapters through them. Also don't foget the USDA in the Agriculture - general section.
  
• Agriculture - Sustainable
• Sustainable agriculture, any of a number of environmentally friendly farming methods that preserve an ecological balance by avoiding depletion of natural resources. A method of agriculture that attempts to ensure the profitability of farms while preserving the environment. This is the simple definition, there is not a simple answer on how to acheive this. I only found a few good sustainable sites so I added some organic sites. The USDA again has sustainable and organic sections on several of their sites. I will be adding University Agricultural Department sites in the near future, from what I've seen, they have more information on sustainable agriculture than anybody.

• Exotic livestock provides unique opportunities for farmers throughout North America. The wide range of exotic livestock make it possible to have operations as small as a few acres to thousands of acres in size. The following pages are of several associations and organizations that can provide you with the information and education on some of the most popular breeds. I will continue to expand this category.

These schools offer biological and agricultural engineering, environmental horticulture, wildlife, agricultural business, animal science, forestry, agronomy, agricultural economics, veterinary science, agricultue programs, educational programs and services in agriculture and natural resources. Lifelong learning and employment experiences contributing to a safe, abundant food and fiber supply; promoting the well-being and health of individuals, families, and communities; enhancing sustainability of agricultural and economic systems. These are community oreinted schools that not only enhance the lives of thier students but also the cities, states and country in which they reside.

• This catagory covers small and hobby farm publications that cover everything from rural living and lifestyles, gardening, growing fruits and vegetables, livestock, small breed livestock, exotic livestock, sustainable and organic farming to name a few. You will find many very interesting articles to spark your imagination. How to save and make money on your small farm. Improve energy efficiency or produce your own energy. Raise and market livestock, small breed livestock and exotic livestock on limited acerage. The list goes on, I find this to be a very interesting catagory, I hope you feel the same.
